concord Church
About us
We are a new church that launched in September 2022, located on Filton Airfield. We are a Church of England church planted by St Nicholas Bristol. We are part of the HTB Network of churches. To find out more visit www.revitalisetrust.org Our vision is to play our part in the evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the Church and the transformation of society.
Our story so far
Concord Church is at the heart of Brabazon, a brand new development on Filton Airfield, the home of the Concorde Aircraft. We’re inspired by the aircraft and the heritage of innovation and pioneering in Filton and we love the meaning of the word Concord.
Location
We launched Sunday services at Aerospace Bristol in 2022. In June 2026 Concord moved our Sunday services out of Aerosapce Bristol and started meeting at The Spitfire Hangar, Frise Street, Brabazon, BS34 4AE
There's an old Anglican prayer that describes God as the Author of Peace and Lover of Concord. Concord means agreement, unity and harmony. We believe God is calling us to serve and show his love to this brand new community and the surrounding area.
The Church staff team still have an office at Aerospace Bristol and several one off events will continue to happen at the Museum.
Our mission is to seek God’s Kingdom in Brabazon, Bristol and beyond. We hope to play our part in the evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the church and the transformation of society.
